Ucraft by Squall presented a new Baton Pouch

At the beginning of the March Squall gear introduced adaptive pouch named Baton Pouch. This is a part of brand new line of tactical gear and equipment.

Baton Pouch was designed to wear telescopic batons from 16 to 22 inches in length, but also to place tactical flashlight between 12 and 18 centimeters in length and a diameter of the head up to 35 millimeters.

This kind of adaptive pouch scheme was initially introduced by High Speed Gear in their TACO line Pouches. This scheme allows you to quickly extract the contents of the pouch and return it back with all these items securely fixed. A detailed description of the adaptive system by Squall gear is available in my previous Multitool Pouch review.

The density of used Cordura is 1000 Denier Cordura. The pouch is impregnated by Near-Infrared Technology (NIR) Signature Management Technology which prevents illumination in the night vision devices. Slings and shock cords are produced in Europe.

The pouch has a rectangular shape of 12 cm in height, 4 cm in width and 4 cm in depth. Bore size for devices is 10 centimeters in height and 4 cm in width. Weight of the empty pouch is 54 grams.

The pouch is perfectly secured on two horizontal PALS\MOLLE strips or on the belt from 4 to 5 centimeters.

I have no complaints to the quality of the pouch. Stitches are good, no protruding threads or defects. The pouch was used on a modular Low Profile Modular Belt for tactical flashlights with a diameter of the head portion from 20 to 40 millimeters. Small difficulties were caused by model with 40mm warhead. It has quite aggressive lens protector, so I couldn’t return this flashlight to the pouch quickly. Though, the pouch performed itself well during training in low light conditions providing comfortable extracting of the flashlight with one hand. This pouch is perfectly fits tactical belts, all kinds of bags or backpacks with internal or external PALS\MOLLE system

The pouch is available in black, coyote, olive, A-TACS FG and Crye Multicam colors.
