Ucraft by Squall presented a new Multitool Pouch

Here is another review of the brand new line of tactical equipment from Squall gear. I am going to talk about Multitool Pouch. The Pouch was put into production at the beginning of March. After a few months of using the pouch I would like to express my opinion.

The manufacturer presents the pouch as a convenient solution for carrying multitool and small flashlight up to ten centimeters in length and up to three and a half centimeters in diameter.

Nevertheless, the pouch will perfectly fit Ganzo G302-B multitool, despite the fact its height exceeds eleven centimeters and a diameter at its widest point, more than five centimeters. The pouch was designed along the lines of TACO series initially presented by High Speed Gear. The locking system is a solid Cordura cut-off folded in half and reinforced by plastic inserts. This cut-off is a front and rear wall of the pouch. The side walls of pouch just made of one cut-Cordura, but the plastic element is sewn on the inside and directly facilitates the extraction and objects placement inside the pouch. The cut-off serves as the side walls, the bottom cut is stitched to the front and rear walls. The whole petal design is pulled together by means of a shock cord and PALS / MOLLE straps for front and rear and two tabs on the sides. The valve is a separate item and it is attached with the help of Velcro to the back wall of the pouch. This allows you to adjust the height of the valve length. The tail of the valve also reinforced with a plastic insert. The upper side of the valve is sewn with fastex. The lower part is fixed to the Cordura loop on the basis of pouch, which also serves to bring ends of the cord shock. Also it helps not to tangle cord and cling to other equipment.

The density of used Cordura is 1000 Denier Cordura. The pouch is impregnated by Near-Infrared Technology (NIR) Signature Management Technology which prevents illumination in the night vision devices. The pouch is locked by 2M fastex. Slings and shock cords are produced in Europe.

The height of the pouch is 10 cm, 4 cm in width and depth of 3.5 cm. The bore size is 8 centimeters in height and 4 cm in width. The valve length is twenty and a half centimeters and 4 cm in width. The weight of the empty pouch is 71 grams.

The pouch is perfectly fastened using two horizontal bands PALS \ MOLLE and with the help of a belt from 4 to 5 centimeters in width.

The pouch is an ideal decision for both technical staff that needs quick access to tools and absolutely to any operator who wants to protect his equipment and to have an ability to use it quickly.

The pouch was mounted on Low Profile Modular Belt and on a backpack. In both cases, the pouch proved itself to be fine. Thick shock cord provides a secure multitool mounting. While using the pouch following deficiencies were found: an internal Velcro eventually was damaged, specifically in my copy I had a few rough threads. It would be better to use additional fixing of the side walls, sometimes after extracting multitool walls were jammed; it was difficult to return multitool back into the pouch with the use of one hand.

Currently the pouch comes in such colors as black, coyote, olive, emergency red, A-TACS FG and Crye Multicam.
