Self-disinfecting Katadyn® Expedition water filter Element:
1. Ceramic body retains all suspended matter and bacteria.
2. Silver incorporated in ceramic body prevents growth of bacteria through the pores of the ceramic.
3. Filling of silver quartz prevents reinfection from the outlet side.
The Katadyn® Expedition water filter elements are to be mounted to your Katadyn® Expedition water filter filter in accordance with instructions. When the flow rate decreases, brush the Katadyn® Expedition water filter element and was away the ceramic particles until the light original color reappears. Do not use detergents and do not scald out the Katadyn® Expedition water filter element. If the filter element is defective, replace it immediately.
